Ahh, Summer!

It's summer time once again, time for barbeques, picnics, all those fun Summer get togethers. I just thought with one of my very own children having a summer birthday of their own it would be nice to give a little visual inspiration to all those out there wanting to spice up your outdoor fiestas. It is a perfect way to move take the indoors out, and add tons of color. hope these are inspirations for your next get together.

More than jUst Pink and Blue

In the past when thinking of new arrivals we tended to think of the usual colors, PINK and BLUE. Not anymore, and I for one am relieved. Pink and Blue are wonderful colors, don't get me wrong, but it just seems so pigeon holed to have a boys room be blue and a girls room all dressed in pink. there are so many wonderful color palettes to choose from. and in relation to the hue you choose children's rooms are wonderful places to have majorly saturated colors too. the bolder the better. again I am am still a fan of the pastels and dainty colors that we associate with children but sometimes bold color can be refreshing.

Here's to the start of something new!

I am a blogger of sorts, that's to say I am more of a readwer and less of a writer, but everyone needs to start somewhere. So this is me giving it my best shot and trying to broaden my horizons and take on this wonderful challange of blogging about designs....a sprinkle of something more here and there.
